My career reflects my passion for leadership, innovation, and sustainability. With a background in Civil Engineering and advanced degrees including an MBA in Business Administration, an MSc in Management, and an MA in E-commerce, I have built a unique combination of technical expertise and business acumen.
My professional journey began in the construction sector at NAMECO, where I served as Technical Director and was jointly responsible for several of Suriname’s largest infrastructure projects, ranging from bridge construction to industrial facility developments. Later, I transitioned to the insurance sector at FATUM, where I grew from Manager of General Affairs to Deputy Director, sharing responsibility for the Sales, Business Development, and Marketing departments. In this role, I focus on developing commercial strategies, strengthening customer relationships, and overseeing large-scale projects and initiatives.
Throughout my career, I have maintained a constant drive to grow, innovate, and add value to the organizations I work for, bridging the gap between technical complexity and business objectives.
